Dead Meat

Russell Roberts

You might enjoy "Dead Meat," this 25 minute video that looks at Canada's health system and why we shouldn't copy it here in the US.  My favorite part is when we see how some Canadian pets have better access to health care than Canadian people.  The animal health care market is unregulated—competition is vigorous with all the good consequences you'd expect.  This is a nice bit of propaganda that pulls at the heart strings as well as explaining some of the economics.  The film-makers are working on a full length version that will go into more detail on the economics of health care.
